Thank you for visiting my site. I am a single mother of two beautiful active boys who enjoy the many pleasures in life. They are wonderful students, not only in elementary school, but also in martial arts, cooking, musical instruments (bells, guitar, and piano). And most of all, the school of fun!

My passions are many. Friends and family tease me that I have so many things going on, wondering how I can keep up with it all. By day, I am a systems analyst, working for a department in higher education and by night, I am single mom extraordinaire (or so my friends tell me). I am a loan officer/supervisor for a growing and profitable company (hoping to get my real estate license some day); I am a poet and writer; I volunteer for several organizations, teach cooking classes at the local Parks and Recreation, and now teach guitar(never played until my youngest begged me to teach him!)

For my fun time, I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, playing poker, cooking/baking, vegging out in front of the tube and definitely having game night with my boys.

For the community, I became a volunteer CASA, court-appointed special advocate to help be a voice for a foster child in need. This Christmas, with my social group of DIVAS, we were able to gather enough toys to play Santa to the CASA children of Sacramento as well as to the Receiving Home, who at that time housed over ninety children. They had a wonderful Christmas season, filled with toys and laughter. I also volunteer my time to scrapbook a Make-A-Wish child's special wish, whether it be a dream vacation or a new pet. The ability to help others in need or to see a child smile is ever so precious.

For spiritual growth, I am walking toward a better understanding of my Christian faith, and hopefully one day to attain that spiritual one-on-one relationship with my Lord and Saviour. Maybe one day I will be inspired to lead a women's and children's devotional groups.
